Child of Wild

I’ve already spoken before about my obsession with native and tribal jewelry. Child of Wild is an online store that sources jewelry from many parts of the world. The pieces they have are the epitome of what I look for in tribal jewelry and they have both men and women’s pieces which are magnificently curated. They also designed really cool flash tattoos. Child of Wild has a an awesome concept, as they say in their website “Child of Wild pieces are heavily researched and inspired from historical art movements and cultural rituals and ideals”. The prices are high  but reasonable, this type of jewelry is not cheap but it is definitely worth the price. I already have my eye on a couple pieces that I can’t wait to buy!

I highly recommend anyone who loves tribal and native jewelry to check them out ( You can also take a look at their stuff on Instagram (@child_of_wild). They have beautiful photography and esthetics, they create amazing stories to photograph their jewlery.

Initialed Pinky Rings, Yay or Nay?

Yay! The initialed pinky ring trend has been big in the men’s fashion world for many many years. This trend was rarely seen on women, but it has been 10882010_474952719312094_1181456205_nslowly becoming a “thing” in our fashion world. The first time I saw it was on Kate Bosworth’s Instagram account (image to the right); her husband gave her a pinky ring with her married initials on, really cute. I thought it was a beautiful piece of jewelry and a great idea as an engagement/marriage ring. From there I began to see it more and more, on covers and on fashion editorials.

I really love pinky rings in general but this initialed pinky rings I love the most. The pinky rings that I’ve seen so far are normally fine rings, the fact that this pinky ring is a bit chunkier makes it even more of a statement and special piece of jewelry. The chunky gold ring plus the initial also gives a bit of a gangster vibe to the person wearing it, which as I’ve said before I can’t resist. A designer that does initial rings that could easily be transformed into pinky rings is Jennifer Fisher.

Khai Khai Jewelry

Khai Khai Jewerly is a line by Haim Medine. The way I found out about him and his jewelry line is through on of my favorite bloggers Man Repeller, a.k.a. Leandra Medine; Haim is Leandra’s brother. She always wears KK’s pieces and they look stunning, take a look at her manrepeller1Instagram (@manrepeller) or at Khai Khai Jewelry’s Instagram (@khaikhaijewlery).

Khai Khai jewelry’s designs are creative and fun, and the materials used are expensive and tasteful. It is basically a high-end fine jewelry line, but aimed more to a “younger crowd”. However, because of their prices, their “younger crowd” is people who know about jewelry and love it enough to spend even a month’s pay on a single piece… In other words, I’m the perfect target!

Khai Khai’s jewelry is very beautiful. I haven’t bought anything yet but I really really want the Leo Zodiac Medallion made out of 18 K gold on a background of mother pearl with yellow sapphire and yellow and black diamonds!
